Do I need a call with sales to start?
No. Search for your business, and Blumeo builds a receptionist from your Google listing and website in about 30 seconds. Talk to it in your browser, then pick a plan, get a number and forward your calls. Most owners are live the same day.
What counts as a call?
An answered conversation longer than 30 seconds. Spam, robocalls, wrong numbers and hang-ups are free. A call over 10 minutes counts as two. You can see every call and whether it counted in your dashboard.
What happens if I go over my calls or texts?
Nothing stops. The receptionist keeps answering, and extra calls are billed at your plan's rate ($1 each, or $0.75 on Growth) and extra texts at 3¢, on your next invoice. Your dashboard shows how much of the month's allowance you've used.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan comes with 7 days free. You add a card to start, nothing is charged for 7 days, and you can cancel in two clicks from Billing before then. After the trial, your plan renews automatically each month (or year) until you cancel.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Any time, from Billing. Upgrades take effect straight away; there are no contracts and no cancellation fees.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. You get a local number for the receptionist and forward your existing line to it, either all calls or only the ones you miss. Blumeo shows the dial code for your carrier and tests it with you.
Is texting my customers allowed?
Texting has rules: carrier registration, consent and quiet hours. Blumeo files your business's texting registration for you, only texts people who contacted you or agreed to hear from you, and stops anyone who replies STOP.
