Terms of Service
Last updated 6 September 2026
These terms cover the work Blumeo does for you. Using our systems, or paying an invoice, means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
What we do
We build and run AI systems for your business. Depending on what you signed up for, that means answering your calls, texting new leads, chasing quotes, asking customers for reviews, building and running your website, and reporting the results in a dashboard. What you are buying is listed on your invoice and shown in your portal.
Getting started
Onboarding starts when you complete the questionnaire and pay the setup fee. We build against the answers you give us, so the more accurate they are, the better the result. If something in your business changes, tell us and we will change the setup.
Payment
- A one-off setup fee, payable before we start building.
- A monthly retainer, billed on the same day each month while the account is open.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Invoices are due on receipt. If an invoice is more than 14 days late we may pause the systems until it is settled, after telling you first.
The setup fee covers work we have already done by the time you see the result, so it is non-refundable once the build has started.
Cancelling
Either of us can end the arrangement with 30 days' notice, in writing, to hello@blumeo.ai. You pay for the notice period and nothing after it. There is no long contract and no cancellation penalty.
On cancellation we hand back your data on request, then delete it as described in our privacy policy. Phone numbers we set up for you stay yours.
What you are responsible for
- The accuracy of what you tell us about your business.
- Having the right to contact the customers whose details you give us.
- Following the laws that apply to your trade, your licensing, and your marketing.
- Keeping your portal password to yourself.
You may not use our systems to send unlawful messages, to contact people who have opted out, or to mislead anyone about who they are dealing with.
What we are responsible for
Doing the work competently and keeping the systems running. We aim for the systems to be available around the clock, and we will tell you when something is broken rather than waiting for you to notice.
We do not guarantee a particular number of calls, bookings, reviews or dollars. Anything we show you before you buy is an estimate built from figures you supply, not a promise. Results depend on your market, your pricing, and how fast you answer the leads we send you.
AI, honestly
These systems are automated and they are not perfect. An AI receptionist can mishear a name or misjudge a question. We build in transfers to a human, we show you every call and message so you can check our work, and we fix what you flag. You should review what matters rather than assume every interaction was handled the way you would have handled it.
Your data and your content
Your customer lists, call records, and business information remain yours. We use them to run your service and for nothing else. We keep ownership of the software, prompts, configurations and dashboards we build, and you get an unrestricted right to use them while your account is open.
Third parties
Our systems sit on top of services we do not control, including Google, Stripe, and the telephony and AI providers that carry your calls and messages. If one of them has an outage, we will work around it, but we are not liable for their failures.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and email active clients at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Carrying on after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, and any dispute belongs in the courts there.
